The Emmet County Kinship improves lives by establishing quality relationships between individuals and caring volunteers for the purpose of promoting stability, support, friendship, and community.

Emmet County Community Readiness Survey Results

January 2007 a random sample of 600 residents in Emmet County were surveyed, with a response rate of 38%.  This survey assessed the attitudes of residents in the community to ascertain their level of readiness for prevention services regarding alcohol, tobacco, other drugs abuse and problem gambling (hereby referred to as ATODG).

A mentor is a trusted adult friend with a consistent commitment to provide guidance and support to a child.
We Believe:  Every child deserves a responsible and concerned adult who will provide guidance and support, help set and accomplish goals, and act as a positive role model.
